Talented wine room designer Charles Smith, wanted Getvanilla's help to create a suitable brand profile to support his burgeoning wine storage business, which caters for high worth UK clients utilising his unique hand drawn sketches.
With a website to follow, the initial focus was on a logo and identity that would stand out from the usual cliched colours schemes and imagery associated with the wine industry. Unlike other companies in the sector, it was felt important that the final logo retained a quirky feel that suits Charles candour and approach to his drawings.
So far, reaction to the brand has been positive, with in particular the 13 55 reference, appealing to wine buffs who know that digits refer to the ideal temperature in celsius and fahrenheit that vintage wine should be stored at.
